Why do you think that we as people categorize sin? We think some sins are worst that others. Why do we look down on the person who is a glutton, and overweight, and think nothing of smoking? Why do we condemn the drug addict, but accept the adulterer? You do realize, none of this thinking makes any sense. All sin is sin. No matter the sin, at the end of the day, it is sin. We are all in need of a savior, and we have all fallen short of the glory of God. No, not one of us is righteous on our own. Some practice legalism, traditionalism, and religion. This is not anything but wanting to earn the salvation that we so much need. We can not earn salvation. There is only one way to Heaven and that is through the precious blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ our Lord. You know the bible says judge not least the be judged and the measure you judge others will be the measure you are judged by. It also says we reap what we sow. We are to be good and kind to others. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
It wasn't too many years ago, my family was facing battles on every side. To be honest I only know that I simply made it through these battles, because the great grace, love, mercy, and blessings of the Lord Jesus. I will not go into details out of respect for those involved. Let us just simply say some things we feel are unforgivable. It is something we sometimes wrestle with every day. I am personally saying only through Jesus does He make our weaknesses turn into His strength. He gives us the ability to forgive. The flesh does not want to forgive. The spirit has a need to. Betrayal is a deep wound that only the Lord can walk and carry you through. There is always hope in Jesus. When we give Him our all, all of the dark shadows we keep secret, all of the mistakes and regrets, then He comes and restores us to wholeness. This is giving your entirety, your all to Him as savior. It doesn't happen overnight. It is something that the Lord perfects over a life time. I am so grateful to see others that have so offended me, full of faults as I too, am full of faults, we are all the same. We all make mess up, and sin. We are all in need of a savior, He alone saves! He alone restores what none other may.
Life is short and we have no promise of tomorrow. All the hope we may ever know in this life is the goodness, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. He alone saves us from our filth and sin- scarred, tattered lives. We can not earn salvation. It is grace by which you are saved, not of yourselves, least anyone should boast. None of us are exempt of the judgement upon our lives. We are all born into this world in sin. Our very flesh is sin, because the fall and sin of Adam and Eve. So we have one that is the propitiation of sin , our reconsilliation to the Father through his precious blood shed for a world of sinners. He loved us before we knew him. He sought us and loves so unconditionally that the human mind may never be able to comprehend it. This unfathamable, uncomprehensible, all- consuming, mind- boggling, agape, love sets us at liberty, Hallelujah! That is worth Praises Jesus forever !!!!
