Just a man Anita G Hall February 10,2018 This story is not a rare one. It is not even anything out

of the ordinary. Love the Lord thy God with all your heart with all your strength. We should see the importance of this commandment, after all it is the first and foremost of all of them. It is so easy to put things before God. We are so overwhelmed and preoccupied these days with so much information and so much stress of doing everything for everyone and that is not OK. We need to be good at what we do but we need to do what is necessary. We need to have our priorities straight and that is having God 1st. We are not supposed to put anything above the importance of God. We fail when we

place our spouses our friends our hobbies our jobs our family or desires above God. He is 1st and He is a jealous God. He loves us with an everlasting love. " You must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you. "Exodus 34:14 We all get caught up in this life pursuing things that we shouldn't. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness's are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (paraphrased)

What man makes fails, what God makes will never fail, but will be forever strengthened within its weakness and desperate for the need of a Holy God our righteousness.

This man I am introducing you too is a lovely person who is running from his calling. He is beyond precious beyond words of description. Let us pray for his peace, and understanding. Let us pray for his deliverance, for eyes to see, and ears to hear, for a mouth to speak only Gods holy word and truth. May his feet be swift to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I do believe we can run but we can not hide for God sees all things and knows all things. He calls us and leads us unto righteousness through His precious son Jesus Christs. WE are made whole and born again through the shed blood of His only begotten son. Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have life everlasting.

Nothing may separated us from the love of God. NOTHING. Romans 8:38-39 ' For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Like I stated earlier we all fall short. We are all on this journey called life. We learn as we go through our mistakes and yes oftentimes its a very painful walk. Sometimes we only learn through pain. I do not think or believe I will ever be able to fully comprehend the love of our Lord for us that He died for us. It will forever blow me away.

This man, a simple man full of love and life is struggling and hiding within himself. He is knumbing himself out like so many of us have so often done. Whether it be through one addiction or another we think we can push away the problems knumb ourselves out to the truth of the pain we have so found ourselves within the webs of deceit woven by the enemy. The good news is as long as we have breathe left in our bodies we may call upon Him our Lover of our Souls Jesus Christ our Savior. So I am asking my dear friends and family to lift this dear precious brother who is so lost and in deep pain alienated from His family up in prayer. He is just like us, we all make mistakes, we sin. We all have an advocate with the Father, through His son Jesus Christ, praise His name forevermore. Through salvation and a personal relationship with Him , He is our savior and Lord. Wont you trust Him and get to know Him if you do not already. If you have been away is not it time to come home to the loving arms of God. He is waiting for you , just as the father of the prodigal son was. (Luke 15:11-32 ) Thank you for taking the time to pray for my dear friend, Tom. Love each of you very much.
