Be true to yourself

Many times in our lives we feel as if we are being honest with ourselves above all else. However, sometimes we believe the lies of the enemy and rehearse those thoughts and negative statements so much and for so long they actually become a truth to us and we do not realize they are the plot of the enemy to keep us bound in strongholds. Jesus did not come and die on the cross and be raised again on the third day for us to remain imprisoned in chains of bondage. He came to set the captives free. What lies are you believing today that you should not be entertaining? I used to say to myself I am worthless, I am unloved, I am broken, I am useless, and many many more lies that I did not realize the harsh cruel negative effect of these words. Professing these lies over ourselves only brings defeat and destruction and are totally contrary to God's Word. Stop the lies! Begin professing God's Word over those lies and stop them immediately when they flood your mind. You are everything He created you to be. Embrace the truth of His Word over your life. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. " Speak life and watch your life turn around for the good. Jeremiah 29:11-13 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."

Instead of believing the lie from the enemy "I am worthless! " I started professing the truth of God's Word, "I am Treasured and Valued in Jesus Christ!"

Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

Isaiah 49:15 "Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee."

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Jeremiah 31:3 "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

Instead of believing the lie from the enemy "I am useless!" I started professing the truth of God's Word, " I am useful! in Jesus Christ"

James 1:22,25 "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."

Romans 8:33 "Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth."

Colossians 3:12 "Put on therefore, as the the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;"

Ephesians 1:4 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:"

These are but a few verses that I found the truth of God. The more we consume the Word of God the more we realize his great love for us. We know who we are is hidden in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Amen. :)

So today instead of believing you are nothing, start realizing you are more than precious and worth dying for because He did think of you on Calvary. He doesn't want anyone to perish and die and go to hell.

2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

John 3:15 "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
