Any good parent that loves his/her children will correct them in the right path necessary for a good holy healthy successful life. This is on through fulfilling the will of God Almighty and instructing them to infallible truth, the WORD of God. Knowing God and living for HIM is the only true success. Yes, we may do, say, and be what we may, but it all must revolve around the central essential theme that Jesus Christ the WORD made flesh, is the central main sustainer the only lifeline to our success our hope our life itself not only in this existence but the eternal one to come.  Placing God first balances our lives, and everything flows from it.

  John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Nothing or no one should come before HIM. Nothing. If we surrender to Him, it all works much better to our good even the failures, sin, rebellion, and defiance.  He turns all the devil has intended to cause us to stumble and fall into our good for His glory.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Our definition of success should not be a worldview but a heavenly one. All will stand before Almighty God one day to give account for our lives.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world:  but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 14:10-12 But why dost thou judge thy brother?  Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  So, then every one of us shall give account to himself to God.

Do you realize we are God’s children. We have been drafted in and a part of His family because of our faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Do you know that God corrects and disciplines us because He loves us, and He wants us to succeed? That to me is astounding and mind boggling. Let that sink in for a minute. Think back on your life and remember just where He has brought you. Have a heart of gratitude. He brought you from death, hell, and the grave. He made a way for you where there was no way. He heard your cries and answered your pleas. What a faithful and good, good God we do serve. All of us need rescuing and saved. That is right, none of us have it all together and we can do nothing on our own. The Lord is long suffering and there is no greater love than the love He has for us that He willingly died and suffered for us that we may live forever and never be separated from God.

John 3:15-18 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I often doubt myself. Not God but myself I doubt. The enemy is forever whispering lies in my ears that I am not saved nor good enough. He throws up all the bad things from the past. I must be very diligent in remembering that Jesus Christ has forgiven me of all my sins and covered me in His precious redemptive blood shed on Calvary. He casts all my sins in the lake of forgetfulness as far is the east is to the west! Wow! That is amazing and what a beautiful love this is!

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

I was saved at a very early age. I did not know everything obviously, but I knew the essentials, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that whosoever should believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. I knew I was convicted, and I needed a savior. I did not want to go to Hell and be separated for all eternity away from my loving God. I was nine and at Vacation Bible School up Little Mud at Spruce Pine School with friends and my twin sister. They too were saved. A lovely missionary lady named Eleanor Akner came from New York and was a missionary for our little area.  She helped found churches in the area and would go to the schools and sing and teach about the love of God. Oh, how I loved that little lady. Anyway, it has been a long journey down this road called life. Many obstacles and ups and downs but the constant compass of my soul forevermore is Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord forevermore hallelujah! I have backslid and wandered away and the Lord called me back more than once. Noone is perfect only Jesus Christ was/ is/ and will only be the only perfect! I am forever grateful for His great grace mercy and agape love. Oh, what love! He is LOVE! So dear one choose life, choose Jesus Christ for time is fleeting and tomorrow is not promised. Love in Christ Jesus forever. 😊
