NEVER FOLLOW YOUR HEART FOLLOW THE WORD OF GOD

Our hearts are wicked and deceitful. Only when we follow Gods heart do we know value, hope, truth, freedom, and life. Praise Jesus Christ forever!

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked.

We have probably heard a million times over that we are to follow our heart. Did you know that God's word says that our heart is wicked and deceitful?

We can not follow our will and our desires because this will bring about much pain and destruction. I am a testament of this. We are to do things God's way and by doing so He directs our paths. His way is life.

Proverbs 3:6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Many numerous times in my life I have followed my heart and it lead to much pain and destruction. I desired things of the flesh and tried to do them my way and not the Lords. It lead to painful consequences because of my pride and disobedience. Just because it seems and feels right does not make it right. No God does not want you happy. He wants you obedient. Through knowing him and walking in his will through submission to his headship we are full of life and joy unspeakable. There is a big difference between happy in the flesh temporarily and full of joy, peace, and love in his perfect will. Hallelujah! Praise him in all circumstances. If he is Lord that means he is in control of all things and your situation he knows all about it so trust he has it. Relinquish control and allow him to reign first in your life. We are in a façade if we think we are in control of anything. We may feel we are but we aren't . It is most humbling to realize we are not in control of anything truly. We attempt to be in control of ourselves and our actions and thoughts but even those must be governed by the Lord because alone we may do nothing separated from him. It is through his strength alone do we succeed. Walking in his perfect will is the joy that surpasses all understanding.

John 15:9-17 9“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.10If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.11I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.12My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.13Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.14You are my friends if you do what I command.15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.
