What can be said about Motherhood? So many things. It is bittersweet indeed. Time goes by way to fast. It is exhaustion rolled up in cuddles, boo boos, hugs and snot filled tears. It is fervent prayers for safety and a hedge of protection, an intervening on our children’s behalf to see the truth clearly. It is an earnest will to raise the most precious gift we could have in the flesh on this earth. The gift of Motherhood has been the most amazing gift ever to be bestowed upon me. No sugar coating it but we take the good, the bad, the ugly, and the not so nice along with the tears, arguing, striving, and rebelling. We go over and beyond, give our last, sacrifice our lives, and trust those beautiful creations to God, the creator, who graciously loans them to us for a season. Life is full of so many surprises. We get one chance at this gift. We have to make it count. We are going to fall; we are going to fail. We will get discouraged, upset, and even depressed and sad. We will be overjoyed, celebrating, and cheering them on, and we will be praying so hard for ever aspect of their lives. Being a mother has been literally a rollercoaster ride to say the least. You know when we are young, we often do not realize just how much God will bless us with. I never saw myself being a mother of 4. But guess what I have 4. Two of each. All four of them have separate personalities, gifting's, abilities, quirks, hang ups, and weaknesses and strengths. It all is for a reason. There are battles and there will be scars and laughter along with much pain. Life is a beautiful gift. So, embrace Motherhood. Realize you can go to God for He wrote the book of instruction on all things. That is right, the Bible. Pray to Him and talk with Him and seek Him for knowledge and understanding. In the heat of the moments that unnerve our strength and find us weakened, humble yourself, take a time out, calm down and seek his direction. I guarantee He will show you and reveal to you your faults and what to do and how to handle it. He is amazing. Words may never describe just how incredible he is. That being said do not be so hard on yourself Mothers. Take one moment at a time because they grow up fast and time truly goes by at a great rate of speed. Take a million pictures, make the time to enjoy each moment. Prioritize and remember no one is perfect but Jesus. Love you all. 😊
