UPSIDE DOWN

Here is Nash playing with his Momma when he was younger. This is a cute upside down view. So I thought I would share in order to prove my point. When we are upside down things don't look how they should. We must right side up ourselves in order to see clearly. This is what God's Word does for our perspective. :)
We live in a world that is topsy turvy. Everything seems to be upside down. Right is said to be wrong and wrong is said to be right. Our society is reaching, stretching, and longing for something to hold on to. Everything is seemingly melting away. All of the morals most of us grew up learning, practicing, and knowing are mostly forgotten. People do not value things that are important rather, they value materialism, gain, and vanity. People are concerned of how they look, and what others think of them. They want the best of the best and they want to be seen having the best of the best. We are all guilty of this whether it’s the newest car we have to have or the latest I phone. Our clothes are choking our closets over and we yet want more. There is a divide here. Do we want more or are we substituting anything to fill that deep void within called emptiness? It is a God sized hole. Nothing will or ever comes close to filling it up. Nothing will come near to the deepest desire for Him. People do not realize their greatest need is Jesus. They do not realize the time we are in. Either they do and push it far from their minds or they do and are frustrated in not knowing what to do about it. It is a prayer. A simple prayer from the heart that turns things around. Stop running and come home to the voice of truth within your heart. Listen to the calling of God. He misses you; He wants you and desires you. He died for you. He has made a way, so you do not have to be separated from Him for all of eternity. All you must do is accept Him. He has already paid the full price upon Calvary. That cross was not in vain. His blood was shed for a hurting dying world who desperately need Him. This is a free gift to us who choose to accept it. Nothing in this world will ever come close to filling that void. There are not enough shopping sprees, not enough lottery tickets, not enough drugs, alcohol, or things, nothing can take His place. No limitless bank account could even come close. We all live in a me oriented society. We have social media that portrays the best of us, we have filters for the filters. We care what others think. I am here to say it does not matter what others think. It matters what the Holy Son of God, my Lord Jesus Christ, says. That is what matters. We all need to shake ourselves awake and realize that materialism does not matter. It is nice to have nice things, take wonderful vacations, and have a nice car and home, but first Jesus must be before everything. Winning others to Jesus, sharing the good news of Christ, the hope of the world. We need to be Kingdom minded. You see if we put Him first all things fall into place as they should. Let us be grateful for His amazing love and His gift of salvation for eternal life. 😊
